Nā Hōkū O Hawaiʻi Music Festival
Dawn Kaniaupio is the founder of the Nā Hōkū O Hawaiʻi Music Festival, a pre-celebration of the prestigious Nā Hōkū Hanohano Music Awards and a multi-day music festival of live Hawaiian music and workshops. She is also the Co-Founder of 4 Miles LLC., where she created a business plan, mission, and vision of the new company. In addition, Ms. Kaniaupio is the President/Executive Producer of Alphamedia Corporation in which she is responsible for leading organizations to focus on specific projects dealing with Hawaiian Cultural topics and perpetuation of all things Hawaiian. In 2010, she was awarded the Audience Favorite Short Award of the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival, the Producer/Executive Producer of the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards TV Program, and Producer/Executive Producer of the HARA Lifetime Achievement Awards TV program. She was also the Producer/Executive Producer of the 2009 Merrie Monarch Hula Competition program. From 2002 to 2006, Ms. Kaniaupio was the Vice President of the Hawaiʻi International Film Association.
