Ron Nichols has been the risk manager for Hawaiʻi Maoli for approximately two years. Hawaiʻi Maoli is the fiscal sponsor of the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs. The Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs supports events such as the Prince Kūhiō Festival Parade, as well as other events for the association and various civic clubs. He is also a manager from various industries with over 30 years of hands on experience. Mr. Nichol’s first management position was at a distributor in San Jose, California. In his position, he managed throughout the operation and later was the Vice President/General Manager. He was also the key decision maker in all of the risk management scenarios for his company, with over 1,200 retailers and 200 employees.
