Jessica RichPresident & Executive Director Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii
Jessica Lani Rich is the President & Executive Director of the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii. She is the former News and Public Service Director for KUMU Radio, where she was the host of her own radio program. Jessica has worked as the Director of Public Relations for the Honolulu Academy of Arts and the Bishop Museum, where she was involved in the planning and promotion of numerous special events, including "Family Sundays," which attracted thousands of visitors.
Rich is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Communications and was an M.A. candidate at UH Manoa in the same field. She was the Co-Chair, along with U.S. Attorney Ed Kubo, of a successful statewide safety and security conference held at the Hawaii Convention Center. She was the Chair of the "10th Year Anniversary Celebration" of the Visitor Aloha Society, held at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. She also worked on the planning of the celebrity opening of Roy's Restaurant in Waikiki, a fundraiser for the Visitor Aloha Society. In addition, she worked as a Special Events Consultant for the City and County of Honolulu in planning a national conference. For the past five years, she has been the emcee for the Salvation Army Celebrity Fashion Show. Ms. Rich is also the author of a book, "The Gift of Hawaii, Island Inspirations."
