The Gilroy Garlic Festival

Ed Struzik is President of the 30th Gilroy Garlic Festival, regarded internationally as America’s premier summertime food event.

A native of Waterloo, NY and 12-year resident of Morgan Hill, CA, Mr. Struzik is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. As a Captain in the U.S. Army he served at stations that included Hanau, Germany and Panama as well as at several domestic sites.

Mr. Struzik is presently a Business Solution Executive for the Electronics Industry in IBM’s Global Business Services Division.

In keeping with the IBM philosophy of commitment to community service, Mr. Struzik is also a director for the Morgan Hill Community Foundation and Morgan Hill Pony Baseball.

Mr. Struzik has served the Garlic Festival in various capacities for 11 years, including as chairman of the Utilities Committee and on the board of directors where he was treasurer and then vice-president before assuming the presidency of the 2008 Festival.

Mr. Struzik and his wife, Marsha, have two children.
