Muriel A. Anderson, a forty year veteran of Hawai‘i’s visitor industry, has been with the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority since its inception in 1998. As the Vice President of Tourism Product Development, she oversees various initiatives of the State Tourism Strategic Plan, including Workforce Development, Hawaiian Culture, Natural Resources, and Tourism Product Development. She is a member of the board for the Pacific Asia Travel Association Hawaii Chapter and is also a member of the International Festivals and Events Association.
