To help ensure the success of your festival, Katherine Fisher will share personal experiences, hot tips and dire warnings gathered from producing a variety of events and festivals including: The Kauai Health & Wellness Film Festival, Kauai Diabetes Day, Hawaii Healing Garden Statewide Festival, Kauai Wellness Expo, as well as media sponsorship of numerous community projects across the state.

Katherine has been a committed leader in developing a progressive vision in Hawaii for Health & Wellness Tourism that supports small business, respectfully highlights multi-cultural aspects of Hawaii and protects Hawaii's environment. She has worked with the CPEP and SPEP programs to benefit communities on all islands.

She is the co-founder of Hawaii Health Guide.com, which was founded on Kauai in 2001 and has grown into the # 1 website in Hawaii for Health & Wellness resources with an extensive directory, events calendar and RSS news feed. The site is viewed by over 5,000 people daily around the world.

She is a graduate of Portland State University and University of Oregon, with degrees in Computer Education, and additional training in Oriental Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine and Yoga. She is an advocate for multi-cultural modalities of health. She was the Technology Instructor for Island School on Kauai for 10 years. Katherine is currently enrolled in the IFEA's Professional Festival & Event Executive Certification Program. She has lived in Hawaii since 1987.
