The Festivals of Hawai'i showcase the diversity of our people and unique cultures, celebrate our joy in life, demonstrate respect for our history and traditions, share our aloha with the world, and set Hawai'i apart as a destination unlike any other. Year-round, Hawai'i has a variety of activities and events happening throughout the State, ranging in size from a few hundred participants to state wide events with over 100,000 in attendance. They celebrate music and the arts, education and sports, culture and nature, agriculture and health, and traditions and technology. Through music, dance, games, historical displays, food, parades, and competitions, festivals and events help bring Hawai'i's multicultural heritage to life, and provide both visitors and residents with a community experience beyond sun, sand and surf.
